6th Annual Community Health Fair

Join the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine (ICOM) for its 6th annual Community Health Fair, a free event designed to help our community stay healthy and informed. It takes place Saturday, March 28 from 9 a.m. to noon.

At this community event, you can meet local healthcare providers and wellness organizations, receive free health screenings, learn helpful tips to support your health, and connect with resources available across the Treasure Valley.

Free Health Screenings & Services

  • Blood Pressure & BMI checks
  • Free Lipid Panel & A1C Testing by Central District Health
  • Flu & COVID Vaccinations by the CVS Vaccine Clinic*
  • Mammograms by the Saint Alphonsus Mammogram Bus

Interactive Demonstrations & Education

  • Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) demonstrations
  • Physical exam demonstrations by ICOM medical students
  • Nutrition demonstrations and Q&A with a Registered Dietician
  • Pathology/Radiology – “What do these tests mean?”
  • Health education stations covering nutrition, cancer prevention, reproductive health, and more!

Free Supplies, Samples & Activities

Enjoy free wellness supplies and giveaways, nutrition samples, healthy snacks, and activities for kids while learning about community health resources.

 

This event is free and open to the public, and families from across the Treasure Valley are encouraged to attend.
