The Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine’s (ICOM) Student Government Association held its “Best of ICOM” 2020 Award Ceremony virtually on Friday, Oct. 30.

Voted on by the Classes of 2022, 2023 and 2024, the following employees and students were recognized in the following categories:

Student Leadership Award – Krista Niezwaag, OMS-III

Student Humanitarian Award – Erika Olsen, OMS-III

Staff of the Year – Gary Compton, Director of Security

Faculty of the Year – Marina Diioia, PhD, Adjunct Faculty

OMS-I Course of the Year – Cardiovascular, Course Directors Launa Lynch, PhD and Gary Brandecker, MD

OMS-II Course of the Year – Endocrinology, Course Directors Julie Lyon, MD and Thomas Rosenzweig, MD
